Mauga now a 4 star...

Example of why nebraska recruit rankings are skewed high. If kstate got him this would not happen. Same player, different ranking basked on school only due to large nebraska recruiting following.

A few years back, I tracked the rankings/ratings of our commits. Some move up, some move down. Oddly enough, at the time, people were complaining that NU recruits were getting moved down too much.

A case could be made for the unrated recruit being bumped to a 2* based on P5 recruiting bias. That case doesn't apply here.

Watching the highlight was like watching the old Batman TV show with all those ridiculous captions and arrows and such. If that's a coach that did that, you can start to understand why they were so bad.

Would it be safe to say that he USED to be "under the radar"? Obviously the hand wringers worrying about his star ranking and who had offered him were a little too anxious.

Damn was Levonte David good. Would love to have a LB as fast and decisive as he was

right, funny and pathetic KSUcks kitten on our board giving us crap. If they want some 4 stars...become a real program and start landing them. GBR
Easy. Husker fan here. Using kstate as example of which I still believe (no facts) that WE husker fans follow recruiting more than many fan bases. As a result there are more active recruiting experts repping nebraska than other schools. As a result more players are moved up given that increased presence and attention of players connected to a school like nebraska. It is not a rip on nebraska but a logical approach to one aspect of rating in isolation. It also could support that out coaching staff is not developing players at a worse rate than neighboring schools but that it’s possible that the belief in talent brought in as newbies is uneven. Regardless take it easy on a fellow husker here!!
