He's full of it. He applied for Giants job in NFL 2 years ago.I thought he had unfinished business at Baylor .
I know he changed tune after he said that, but still funny.
Clapping...Giants to interview Jason Garrett.
These guys are just like all of us...looking for a better gig even while they are working at their current gig. Nothing wrong with that.
At least it's some new blood. Just leaves the Browns at the altar...again."Joe Judge Giants Coach"
say that really fast several times...
not as good as "Sun Shine City"
Will Nixon. Dad is Jeff Nixon who was on the BU staff.Who was the recruit we got whose dad coaches at Baylor?
WR. Nixon. derHusker beat me to it.Who was the recruit we got whose dad coaches at Baylor?
IF I were the Browns I would be on the phone to Shurmur. The dude is a very good coach who was limited by his roster with the Giants. At least it's some new blood. Just leaves the Browns at the altar...again.
Like jury duty. You have to have a valid Dr.'s note in order to "call off" when it's your turn to coach the Browns.NFL should just rotate head coaches every other year.
It seems fairly clear that some organizations give a better chance for a guy to be a successful head coach than others. Gotta make a change to keep the fan base (or owner) hopeful even if you're pretty sure the new guy won't make any difference.NFL should just rotate head coaches every other year.
The Browns need somebody who can deal with their QB. Shurmur is a darned good QB developer/OC at the very least.Like jury duty. You have to have a valid Dr.'s note in order to "call off" when it's your turn to coach the Browns.
Jimmy Johnson was 8-24 as the Cowboys' head coach in 1989-90...won back-to-back Super Bowls in 1992-93.Pat Shurmur was 9-23 as the Browns head coach in 2011-12.
