Both TCU and Oregon wearing school colors.

No black, no gray, no neons. Purple and white versus green and gold.

Now get off my lawn.

That conference is sucking wind for a while now...how did Big 12 defenses fall so far? I was counting on this game entertaining me tonite...

Nebraska's 49-point victory margin in the Alamo might be in jeopardy. (66-17 win against Northwestern in 2000 Alamo Bowl.)

Did Mack Brown really say that failed fake punt will give TCU some hope? Now that's some good coach speak!

Pretty amazed at all the penalties against TCU. QB just got knocked to the ground and did a terrible acting job... TCU is very undisciplined, at least in this game.

Thank heavens our backup center played well in our bowl game. Oregon's is terrible and may single handedly cost Oregon the game.

Horrible clock management by both teams on final possessions. TCU should have ended this game..
Yes. Schlepp the ball over the first down marker, spike the ball to kill the clock, and take two shots at the end zone.

They should be able to win in OT, but that was awful.

How a team is so ill-prepared to simply go under center and hand the ball off.... atrocious coaching.

Patterson changed his shirt because they were losing.
Tell me you haven't done the same thing.

I like how he seemed to brag about "getting it down to one second."

Yeah, and if the ball doesn't hit a hand rail, you throw away a shot at the national championship, dumbass.

If he was going to brag he should have complimented himself on "getting it up to one second".

Something along the lines of:
"You want to be sure that when you score that you do not leave any time on the clock for the other team to come back. In 2009 we even ran out the clock against Nebraska but since we owned the officials we were able to get it up to one second to allow the game winning field goal and set Bo Pelini on a 7 year path of destruction"

How abt now?
Yep, you got me. Down 31-0 at the half, I should have known better than to say the Big 12 looked unimpressive... Wait, up to that point in the game, most of the Big 12 looked terrible. Impressive turnaround, for sure, and aided by a backup QB who was more impressive than Oregon's backup QB.

But credit where credit is due, TCU came back and won the game. Good for them!

TCU was getting stomped, then OU's QB goes down and it's all different.

Truth be told, I watched most of the first half, then my daughters asked to watch something else. It wasn't a game, so I said that's fine. Missed the entire 2nd half, only saw the 2nd and 3rd overtimes. Shows the importance of a QB... Not everybody is Ohio State I guess.
