Four star recruit Marcus Newby of North Potomac, MD commited to play Linebacker at Nebraska last night in a phone call to Coach Pelini. Newby weighs 207 lbs entering his senior year of high school, stands 6'1" and runs a 4.6. The list of schools offering him scholarships reads like a Who's Who of college football. Newby is the 12th athlete pledged to sign a Letter of Intent February 2013 and is the 3rd LB in the class. Collectively they may be the finest trio of LB recruits to ever commit in the same class at Nebraska.
