lost yesterday to Troy. Despite his short tenure at LSU, it is hard to see how Orgeron survives.
I think Tennessee is going to be looking for a new coach as well.

So if we fire Riley, just keep in mind that Nebraska will be in competition with some powerhouse programs with deep pockets for the best coach out there.

LSU can't fire Coach O after one year, especially after they got rid of Les. I can't imagine coach walking into that scenario, other than a guy looking to retire in 3-4 years and wants a nice retirement fund. UT is going to find out how undesirable that job really is.

Also: I don't see Scott going to a SEC school. Not a good fit culturally or ethically.

There are always going to be big name programs looking for coaches every single year, if you need a coach you can't let that stop you from making a change.

UT is actually a pretty good job, not sure why somebody would think otherwise.

What it probably shows is how hard it is to turn these programs around quickly and that there are only a handful of coaches that can do it successfully. Look at the competition just in the few we are hearing chatter about already - how do you think Nebraska stacks up to many of those?
