I think our season (from last year) has proven that redemption is not too far off.
I didn't appreciate the lack of respect given to an 11-0 team, but your fanbase and program is well respected and appreciated.
Reilly is a classy guy and a good coach.
I think once you re-establish a running game you will be back in the thick of things.
Good luck going forward.

This is at least the third post you made in the last 30 minutes complaining about lack of respect. We get it. Good luck and I hope you win out and show the nation we don't play in the worst division in the worst conference.

I agree with all you said except for the "Riley being good coach" part. BTW good luck next week. You guys got a well coached team and play solid defense. Should be a great game no matter who the opponent is.

I think you misread the post.

Congrats Hawkeye, you guys came in played solid and beat us. Now go knock MSU off and do good in the play offs. Man i wish the other Tommy showed up today, could of been a lot different. But we have who we have for QB and we lost. Again congrats Hawkeyes.

This is the most civil exchange I've seen on either board.

Lots of hatred by both fan bases on both boards.

I actually respect Iowa, lived there a couple years in Fort Dodge, being a Husker i caught hell but it was good people. I called it all week, i said the Huskers would win if Tommy was on and we all seen he wasnt even close to it. We gad over 400 plus yards, Iowa had 260 and we lose? All Tommy, screw blaming the coaches, they had one bad play call, 4 and 1and a faid to the endzone? Either way, good luck Iowa, beat MSU or OSU.

I don`t speak for many but thanks for the kind words and good luck to you the rest of the season.

I too noticed the lack of respect. Not just from us but from the talking heads as well. You earned our respect tonight (well hopefully must of us) for a hard fought win

After the bad drive to start the second half, never had the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead. Iowa answered, and Milked the clock and did nothing remotely high risk from that point on. Box score doesn't always tell the story.

They also got just enough pressure while dropping 7 into coverage 99% of the time. Sometimes gotta tip the hat

I agree...living in Husker land has been pleasant win or lose. Classy fans and a great program. Of course there is always some loud mouths, but I thought it would be aweful out here. I was wrong.

You guys should be proud. Though you record isn't great your boys NEVER folded like Pelini's teams would... Through hail marys, injuries, less talent (imo from last years team), and big deficits your team never gave up. That should give you hope for the future.
