small dog got out last night. As owners were canvassing neighborhood today they found neighbors who had found the dog last night and took it in. The dog then pooped in their house so they put it back outside. The dog is still missing tonight. I realize not everyone is a dog person but wouldn't the kinder thing have been to call NHS or secure the dog in an enclosed area? Seems kind of heartless....what would you do?
