Looks like Kong got his live scrimmage for Saturday

Common sense wins here. Too bad it came at the fans’ expense.

Maybe next year he can drop the bullshit charade entirely and play the game as scheduled in front of a live and national audience as God intended

Anyone who championed cancelling the spring game can suck my balls

I can suggest a couple bars in Lincoln you might like if you want to stop repressing these feels and taking them out on the Husker rivals board you really seem like you’d do better on Craigslist personals
what, you weren't happy with your first response so you came back for seconds?

LOL

Nice deal for the younger kids on the roster. It will be interesting to see how long they play. This will probably get a few more fans in the seats.

godd@mn you love to hear yourself yammer

I was as pissed about there being no spring game and went probably overboard, saying it was one of his dumbest moves here yet.

But he's having it now... He signed off on this decision. If you can't stop yapping now after getting what you feel is the right move, you are just a hater

Here is my take. If you posted here about how cancelling the game was "smart" and "not a big deal" and all that shit. Don't go to it, don't watch it, don't read about, hell, even feel free to start a thread about what a bad idea it is that they are having a game.

Rhule F'ed up and he realized it, thank goodness.

Just imagine if he had done this correctly. And said something like "50% of all ticket sales will go to Husker NIL, come watch a great SPRING GAME, Red vs White"

70K would be there for it.

It's interesting that Rhule isn't worried about putting some of those kids "on tape" and giving them an opportunity to prove themselves to the staff. And even risking the chance that another school could come after them. I think it's a good move. On one hand, the coaches can keep out anyone they want to keep out and on the other hand, there's still some actual football for fans to watch and at least part of the team is getting use out of that last day of allowed spring practice.
