looks like east coast college D1 hockey continues its recent domination

this year it looks like the finalist are BU and Providence, both from Hockey East

Last year's NC was Union of the ECAC, runner-up was Minnesota

2013 D1 NC was Yale, ECAC, runner-up Quinnipiac, ECAC

3012 NC was Boston College, Hockey East, runner-up Ferris St

So in the last four years 6 of the 8 championship game qualifiers look like they will be either ECAC or Hockey East teams. Regardless of how the western teams do in the regular season the northeastern teams are finding a way to win when it counts..
