Was only a matter of time...some shady dealings in Calabasas when it comes to their recent influx of talent being investigated...hope we get a few from that bunch

I think Gebbia is higher ranked nationally than Freeman was. IIRC in order...

Gabbert, Gebbia, Freeman, Beck
It was enlightening listening to Joey Ganz gloat on The Legends Show about getting in a confrontation at a house party with Freeman on his recruiting visit which supposedly led to Freeman decommitting a few weeks later.

That was a lie wasnt it? I thought the timelines didnt line up
I dunno. Joey was on 590 this morning and he seemed sketchy on what year it was. Just the tone of the conversation made me wonder about Joey. It didn't seem like a story that I would be telling publicly let alone kind of bragging about it.

Seems to have an uncanny ability to place the ball 'in stride' on many throws. Looks to be a natural at doing that.
I do wonder about arm strength, but this is sophomore film, so that should improve in time.

his recruiting ranking, evaluated by whomever, won't change between now and when he graduates? that's all my pt is.

He's second highest, behind Gabbert, right now. Nebraska has a legit shot right now.

Bookmark the thread and bump it when his rating drops.

P.S.
Nebraska didn't have a legit shot with Gabbert or Freeman when each graduated.

I went back and checked on Rivals:

Beck (05 class): 5.9 4 star
Freeman (06 class): 5.9 4 star
Gabbert (08 class): 6.1 5 star
Gebbia (17 class): 5.9 4 star

I remember Gabbert started out a lower 4 star rank, then his performance at the Elite 11 catapulted him to a 5 star. I believe he won the running competition and most of the passing ones.

It's good to see the Huskers back in with elite talent at the QB position.

Check the position rankings and also where each was ranked in the Rivals 100/250, that's how I had them ranked from memory. Should've clarified that, my bad.

+1, we need to expand that to other positions too!

Gabbert - #1 Pro Style - #14 Nationally
Gebbia - #4 Pro Style - #69 Nationally
Freeman - #4 Pro Style - #92 Nationally
Green - #6 Dual Threat - #173 Nationally
Beck - #3 Pro Style - Unranked Nationally
