Hate to say it but lower abdominal injuries (tear?) have ended careers. Wishing the best for Scott.

I agree. Wouldn't be shocked or disappointed if he is DH'ing the first few weeks until he's as close to 100% as can be expected. His health will be much more important in April and May than in February, as we saw at the end of last season.

Put Klemke out there and insert Athey when Meyers or Alvarado pitch. Then put Schreiber at 1B when Miller is on the hill, or just give him a rest that game and get Mike Waldron or Roskam some reps. Schreiber's bat is much more important than his fielding.
