Connor Curry took another step toward reaching his dream.
The Lincoln Southeast graduate pitched four innings in the final contest of the three-game Red-White series Tuesday at Haymarket Park.
For those keeping score at home, the final was 5-5, the second tie in Nebraska's intrasquad series.
“When I was a kid, and even in high school, I came to this park so much and I always wanted to be on this team,” said Curry, a former Journal Star Super State player who is one of seven freshmen on the Husker squad.
