The message board musings this morning got me thinking...one of the biggest knocks I hear from other fan bases (mainly little brother to the east) is that Nebraska fans live in the past.
Had a neighbor that was a cock-eye fan that would talk football and one of the first thing he dropped was "you Husker fans are stuck in the past." Funny thing is that I never mention the past because it means nothing to current teams. I am always quick to point out "you brought up the past, not me."
Does anyone else experience this same level of stupidity from other fan bases? Or, when bantering with the others, do you bring up the past?
