Follow along here for live updates from Nebraska's weekly press conference on Monday morning...

Turner Corcoran is up.

***Corcoran said NU held a team meeting on Sunday night and then came back with a good practice on Monday. He said they've been studying Purdue for more than a week and feel like they have a good jump on their preparation.

***Corcoran said trying to stop Purdue star defensive end George Karlaftis would be another big challenge for the offensive line, but it was just like some of the other top ends they'd faced this season. He said when you play in the Big Ten "you play the cream of the crop," and that's why he wanted to come to Nebraska.

***Corcoran said playing for bowl eligibility was still a main goal, "but we're just focusing on Purdue right now."

***Corcoran said all the players benefitted from the bye week to be able to get healthier and fresher physically.

***Corcoran said Ian Boerkircher was a "great player" and a "great person" who was one of his best friends, and e was so proud of him earning the No. 2 right tackle spot this week on NU's latest depth chart.

***That's all for Corcoran.

Ty Robinson is up.

***Robinson said his "body feels great" after the bye and he's ready to get back to work. "I feel like everybody came out with better energy today."

***Robinson said Purdue's three-quarterback system would give NU's defense a lot of different looks because all three did something different under center. He said it was pretty obvious what each QBs' strengths were, so they would at least have an idea of what to expect when they rotated between the three.

***Robinson in games where Nebraska has given up yards on the ground, especially last time out vs. Minnesota, he said tackling was the defense's biggest issue. When they don't wrap up and swarm to the ball, leaky yards are going to pile up.

***Robinson said he squatted "six plates" (on each side) today in an individual workout session he had with a few other linemen.

***That's all for Robinson.

Adrian Martinez is up.

***Martinez said success in the red zone was harder because there was so much less margin for error. He said you had to make those opportunities count and get points every time you were in the red zone.

***Against Minnesota, Martinez said he "definitely wasn't 100 percent, which you rarely are" at this point of the season. He said he was limited as a runner but still felt he could do all of the things he needed to do in the game. "Otherwise I wouldn't have been out there."

***Martinez said he expected to play at Minnesota that whole week leading up to the game.

***Martinez said facing a pass rusher like Karlaftis was "sort of the Big Ten. It's a part of this league." Karlaftis was a special player, but they've faced several special players already this season.

***Martinez said there hadn't been much talk about what Nebraska needed to do in order to make a bowl game this season and that all of their attention needed to be on Purdue. "For us to make a bowl game, we need to beat Purdue."

***That's all for Martinez.

Ben Stille is up.

***Stille said the bye week was a good opportunity to "unplug and recharge" and the entire team benefitted from the time off.

***Stille said there was "a lot to be learned" from the first half at Minnesota, mainly how important it was for everyone to win their one-on-one battles on every play. He said they lost too many of those vs. the Gophers.

***Stille said he remained confident that Nebraska would continue to fight this season because of the veteran leadership in the locker room. He said older guys like himself had seen what happens when a team gives up on a season, "and obviously that didn't work."

He said the Huskers had no choice but to continue to battle the rest of the way.

***That's all for Stille.

***Scott Frost is up.

***Frost said red zone offense was all about being able to run your base stuff and execute it well enough to score. He said there was only so much you could scheme up for those situations, and a lot of it was just being able to block better.

***Frost said he felt the "guys had more spring in their step" coming back off the bye. He said he felt "refreshed" after the time off and was ready to get back to work.

***Frost said the new overtime rule where teams have to go for nothing but two-point conversions after the first OT "gave me a little anxiety watching it."

***Frost said Martinez would be "100 percent" against Purdue.

***Frost said Deontai Williams would be back this season but, "I don't know when." Sounds like he'll be out this week.

***Frost said he expected to see the Purdue team that beat Iowa more than the team that lost to Wisconsin last week. He said Purdue was a good team that would be a great challenge for NU.

***Frost said Marques Buford was "doing well" and was a guy who came in "ready to attack."

***Frost said Brant Banks was back practicing, and that would help NU's o-line depth.

***Frost said Thomas Fidone was "still shaking a little bit of rust off" but he would be out there as soon as they felt he was ready to play.

***Frost said the entire staff was on the road recruiting this past weekend, and "the response was awesome" from coaches and schools, especially locally. "I was really encouraged to hear the response and reaction."

***Frost said "the progress is obvious" for Nebraska's program despite coming up a play or two short "too many times." He said it was good that so many high school coaches, players, and people around the state could see that.

***Frost said he will "hit the mad button" and get after the team at times, most recently this past Wednesday. "Certain coaches we have are better at hitting the mad button than others," but he said you had to pick your spots and make sure your message gets across.

***That's all for Frost.
