Follow along here for live updates from Nebraska's weekly press conference at Memorial Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Players are scheduled to speak with media around 11:30 a.m. CT, while head coach Scott Frost will take the podium at around 1 p.m.

JoJo Domann will start

***Domann said Saturday night's performance was what the defense expected to do every game. He said they needed the ball to start going their way

***On not pointing fingers when other parts of the team are struggling, he said you have to remember that there are thousands of moments that define a game, and the only way you can be successful was to stay together.

He said the adversity NU was facing right now "was testing our will" and he was excited to see how they responded this week vs. Northwestern.

***Domann said Garrett Nelson played "an amazing game" at MSU and that was a direct carryover from how he played in practice last week. On Nelson, Domann said "the desire to be great is burning in his chest" and had taken "tremendous strides" in his development.

***Domann said the Nebraksa-Northwestern series was close every time and it would come down to which team was the most disciplined and mentally tough for who was going to win.

***Domann said when you lose you go back and look at every single mistake and wonder what you could have done to be better. He said you have to be hard on yourself, "but we also have to give ourselves grace" that you're going to make mistakes sometimes and not dwell on them too much.

***That's all for Domann.

Nick Henrich is up

***Henrich said the defensive line played well on Saturday just like they had all season. He said when the linebackers are racking up stats it was a direct reflection of how well those guys were doing up front.

***Henrich said no one was pointing fingers for the last two losses because they know everyone could have been better to help the team win.

***Henrich said freshman year he was roommates with Nelson. On the first night together in their dorm at like 9 p.m., Nelson asked him: "Hey, you want to go lift." So they went to the weight room on their first night together.

***Henrich said Northwestern was a "super disciplined team" that would stress NU's execution and knowing their assignments on every play.

***That's all for Henrich.

Ty Robinson is up

***Robinson said he was proud of the way the defense played and shut down Kenneth Walker III. "That's really good in our book, but it wasn't good enough to get the win."

***Robinson said Nelson, aka "G-Nelly," was "a dude" who was playing at a really high level right now.

***Robinson said, "we're all a team" and no one was blaming anyone else for that loss to Michigan State. He said you needed to hold guys accountable in practice every day and not just focus on it during the games.

***That's all for Robinson.

Matt Sichterman is up

***Sichterman said the offensive line "made too many mistakes" that were issues they'd been having since before the season started. He said it "takes all 11 of us on offense" and when one guy doesn't do his job, the offense won't work the way it's supposed to.

***Sichterman said fixing the problems was a little different now because many of them were re-occurring issues. The drills they've been doing to correct the issues haven't been working, so they have to find other ways to find solutions.

He said the line needed to come together and make sure the team didn't fracture and start pointing fingers at each other.

***Sichterman said the o-line had to be able to 'move guys" off their spots much better than they had been. He said that was a big point of emphasis today and needed to happen against Northwestern.

***Sichterman said Frost had been more involved with the offensive line the past couple of weeks. They know that they have been the weak point of the offense so far, and everyone is doing all they can to get better.

***That's all for Sichterman.

Adrian Martinez is up

***Martinez said he was "proud and excited" with how the team came back for Monday's practice.

***Martinez said they were trying to figure out how to start faster on offense and actually be able to play ahead in games.

***Martinez said he had faith in the offensive line and they had "studs" in that unit that would get it figured out. He said he tries to keep an open line of communication in practices and in games to try and help the o-line and push them every day.

***Martinez said Northwestern was going to be ready to play and wasn't going to make mistakes. This will be the fourth time Martinez has played the Wildcats, so he's got a pretty good idea of what he's going to see on Saturday.

***Martinez said he wanted to keep his communication with Daniel Cerni in-house, but said it was a team game and there were a lot of plays that could have changed the game beyond Cerni's final punt.

***That's all for Martinez.

Scott Frost is up

***Frost said there were "going to give some other people a real shot" to move into the starting lineup this week, especially on the offensive line.

He said they needed to improve at left guard and right tackle in particular.

***Frost said there needed to be expectations, and when those expectations aren't meant there would be consequences. He said he was benched for part of a game his senior year and "things worked out pretty well."

"That's life. If those guys bounce back, they're going to be fine. You have two choices when that happens, and I hope those guys respond the right way."

***Frost said the special teams meeting this morning was "rough" but he thought Mike Dawson got the team's attention.

***Frost said slow starts were clearly a problem for the offense this season. He said "possessions matter" in the Big Ten as much as any league in the country, and you can't waste drives the way NU has early in games.

***Frost said it didn't cross his mind NU was going to give up a punt return when it did. He said the two-returner look MSU used shouldn't have impacted Nebraska at all in terms of where they were supposed to kick the ball.

***Frost said NU talked about using two punt returners, but he doesn't think that's a strategy they'll use yet. "We just need a guy who's going to run up and catch the ball."

***Frost said Northwestern was "an exceptionally well-coached and disciplined team that doesn't make mistakes."

***Frost said what's unique about this year was that it seemed like every week it was a new problem that Nebraska had to work on to fix. Whether it was the offensive line, kicking, or punting, there was something new that hurt NU in almost every game this year.

***Asked about playing two straight night games, Frost said he didn't care if the game was at two in the morning or two in the afternoon, Nebraska just needed to play well and win some games.

***Frost said the offensive line needed to play with more of a "nasty" attitude and come off the ball hitting people. Improving the crease running game and pass protection were the most obvious areas of improvement.

***Frost said Logan Smothers "did great" when he was called upon early on at Michigan State. He said Smothers had "been ready every chance he's gotten this year."

***Frost said Oliver Martin and Zavier Betts were both "close" to return to action this week.

***Asked about Teddy Prochazka, Frost said it was still "all hands on deck" and if a guy was ready to help the team win, they'd use him.

***Frost said Martinez had x-rays taken of his jaw at Michigan State and was able to come back in and finish the game. Frost said that was a testament to Martinez's toughness.

***That's all for Frost.
