It's early, I know, but thought I'd start the live game thread for this afternoon's game at Northwestern.
Northwestern has owned this series lately. Nebraska hasn't beaten Northwestern in Evanston since Feb. 8, 2014. In the last nine matchups with the Wildcats, the Huskers are 1-8, with the lone win coming last season in Lincoln.
Tip is slated for 2 p.m. The game will be shown on BTN with Dave Revsine and Jess Settles on the call.
This will be another Quad 1 opportunity for the Huskers, who enter today with a NET rating of 49 while Northwestern is at 59. The Huskers will stay on the road for their next game, at Penn State (NET of 78, Quad 2) on Wednesday, and not return home to Lincoln following today's game, much like they did on their two-game swing through the Pacific Northwest.
