Let's see what this team is made of...

The fight is on tomorrow. Not as much with Io_a, but within ourselves. Coaches and players.
Do we have the fire and guts to execute, pin our ears back, and be physical at the point of attack?
Or is there more sloppy play, lack of focus, and shooting our own feet off?

This is the litmus test for Cornhusker football. Bring it, boys.
Less penalties, better blocking, staying in their gaps, better tackling, receivers getting open, better QB play, and no turnovers by us would go a LONG ways to keep the Huskers in this game.

Don’t see all of that improving in one week but hope they can minimize it or it will get really ugly!

This could be the game where Frost loses the team or saves his job. I expect major improvement over last week. If we see the same effort, execution, game plan, it will be over midway through the 1st.

Remember, Ioway was ahead 24-10 at half last year and Brian F went conservative and gave Nebraska a chance to get back in it...

Just watched the replay of last years’ game on BTN. We were headed to OT... cannot believe they drove length of field for FG with ZERO TOs. Hard pill to swallow.

Can’t remember who his name was but we had a DB that got a personal fall in the last 30 seconds too...
