By all appearances, HCMR will not be retained as our head coach. He has not delivered what was needed on the field. However, he is a great man with a lot of character and class. I hope that we as fans can remain equally classy as his tenure ends. It is the right thing to do. l am sure that nobody is more disappointed than he is. Imagine finishing a career with failure and getting fired.
As a program, we have seen a marked fall from the top of the heap. It has been frustrating and disappointing. One of the few things we have left is a reputation as one of the best and most loyal fan bases in all of sports. Lets continue to earn that. We have shown respect for visiting teams with standing ovations, and treated visiting fans with open arms. Lets show Mike Riley and staff that same respect and class in these hard times. Put your frustrations aside and stand tall through this.
