How likely is it that a true freshmen is going to uproot a senior QB?
Extremely likely. POB is in a different stratosphere compared to the qbs on the roster right now.
NoYou don't think a true freshman QB won't make just as many bone-headed decisions?
QB.
He has the athleticism, know will argue that. His ints were terrible today, they were terrible against Rutgers, Michigan state... He just makes bad decisions and doesn't seem able to fix that.Exactly.... boggles the mind that people on here can't see just how dumb TA is on the field. He's not a D1 qb, doesn't have the smarts to be under center...
armstrong makes some mistakes in the passing game but he also has made some extremely important plays in the running game which many QBs couldn't make.I don't care how many mistakes TA makes, a true freshman isn't going to come in and mop up on the starting role. Even if they did end up as a starter then it's out of desperation rather than winning out because of your other worldly college football skills. They're true freshman and they're going to make some stupid decisions, the difference between the good ones and the mediocre ones is that they improve as they mature in the college game. Sorry but not a whole heap of high school QB's are ready to play the starting role as soon as they set foot on campus.
We'll be better with a better QB for sure. Our coaches just aren't very sharp, and that's a big problem---hope they can figure things out.armstrong makes some mistakes in the passing game but he also has made some extremely important plays in the running game which many QBs couldn't make.
Came in with a lot more fanfare and a much better situation than what we have here.Mitch Mustain, lol.
Agreed on that one!I get that, but he is kind of a joke on this board because of Tulsa Toms man crush on him.
