Let’s talk Jerseys Past to Present

Which jerseys do you prefer Nebraska to wear.. Been a lot of changes through out the years.

I like the one that have now since they moved up the stripes higher 5 or so years back..
Of course my favorite are from the 1968-1974 seasons with the Varsity stripes similar to the Colts and what LSU wear.

With out going to far back.
1957 season Nebraska wore varsity stripes on the jersey.
Jennings last few seasons no stripes..
Devaney from 1962-1967 no stripes with a curly numbers.
Devaney- Osborne from 1968-1974 Varsity stripes came back
Osborne from 1975-1977 no stripes and at times numbers on the sleeves.
Osborne from 1978-1983 N on the side of the both sleeves no stripes.
Osborne from 1984-1995 2 stripes on the bottom on the sleeves.
Osborne last 2 years no stripes on some of the jerseys.
Solich went back to stripes o n the sleeves except for 2003 year when Adidas convinced Nebraska to make a uniform change.

I'd say before 1995, many jerseys were mismatched in terms of number font, brand name, nameplate (some had names, some didn't).

1980 Sun Bowl bowl MSU is a great example. Some of the Jerseys had a large Nebraska lettering across the chest, some were blank.
