This is another reason football was canceled, the season will never get started when this blatant behavior is taking place.

Exactly why we should be playing. Playing or not playing, kids will be kids regardless of what rules you set. Not playing football is just a way for the academics and bureaucrats to feel like they're doing something.

With no football they will just have to get more creative with their reasons to party Saturday mornings.

If we knew back then what we know now, we should have encouraged parties of this nature in March for healthy people. Get to herd immunity quicker.

I have my doubts any OWH employees went to any parties in college.

I have partied with some of them... Haven't talked to them in a long time, don't know if they still work for the OWH. It's about what you'd expect.

Telling college aged kids not to party is as realistic as having them abstain from sex. Good in theory but not going to happen.

Back when there were Blockbuster and the like on every corner I tried to walk into one of them and rent Hollywood Nights and they said no and as they told me their faces got red cause they thought it was a porno...Newbomb rules....and that movie was never released for rent for some reason. Great flick...

They don't have to wait til Saturday.

since colleges brought them in to assure tuition, room, and board monies, and then go online.....now they dont have to worry about going to class and can party Monday morning!!

They want it to spread through campus now, instead of 1 week into football. Alabama ahead of the curve on this one.

I know a kid at Alabama. All students had to be tested for COVID within the last two weeks before being allowed on campus. Those with positives had to be quarantined. After everyone got on campus last week, they shut down all common areas in all dorms and Greek houses. Cafeterias are grab and go. No social gatherings anywhere, including Greek houses. Basically, on-campus students are confined to their dorm rooms if not in class or outside (socially distanced, of course). They sent a letter to students and parents this weekend informing them that Tuscaloosa has closed all bars for two weeks, that on or off-campus gatherings of students are strictly prohibited and that the police campus and city police will be monitoring for on campus and off campus gatherings. Any students who violate the rules will be suspended. I think they are pretty serious about making sure they get to play. They are not just letting it run through the campus and being a little cynical I doubt its all about the health of the average student.

Geez. What's the point them of going to college then. They may as well just go get a job.

Once the election is over the Corona Virus will become a non story. Too bad we don’t hold our elections in July because if we had we would be playing Football this fall.
thats hilarious. kinda like the virus will go away soon. you just keep moving the date back until you are finally right. the dems might? drop it after the election but the media will not. it will still be a huge story. The news has to have something to write about
