Laughable that 5 and 15 are not on the field every play

A blind man can see 3, 5 and 15 should be on the field at all times. It’s a Big reason Frost will get canned. Offensive line starters are highly questionable as well. How do you not know who your play makers are?
I also don't know why #4 can't get on the field. He's a good blocker and route runner, and he's also our fastest receiver from what little I've seen from him.

Yes they selection of talent on the field is astounding with this offensive genius at the helm. Then how do you have your kicker that has his head so far up his ass just sitting on the bench after another miss. Get your lazy ass up and kick 100 damn balls into that fancy little net we bought until your name is called again.

Tomorrow, OP, do yourself a favor and watch some NFL games and premier WRs that actually run routes more than 10 yards from the LOS like our 3, 5, and 15 typically run.

Count the number of times they are on the sideline and not taking snaps.

Been saying it last year and this year. Talent will always make more plays then awesome practice players. You have to play your best players talent wise. Even if they don't maybe know the playbook the best or practice the best. Because talent makes plays, not awesome practice players.

Those 3 are the best receivers NU has had in at least 8 years. ALL 3 barring injury or doing something stupid will be in NFL in the next 2 years!

Why Brown isn't on the field creating match-up problems is beyond me....🤔🧐🥴

Laughable that for one final desperate drive we have a running back and a TE in the game. We should have went four wide and an extra o-lineman to help on the pass pro. You saw the result with the sacks at the end.
I hereby call it the

Let's stop f'ing around formation.

Snap counts vs Illinois….

Liewer-44
Betts-0

I get the Frost seems to enjoy losing, but nobody needed to attend practiced to know Betts should not be on the bench. It shouldn’t take Frost to get his ass beat by Illinois again and his offense to do what it does best with sputtering to realize he needs to get the most talented players on the field.

That happens when a guy is benched.

That last drive is what I expected to happen for much of the game today. If Frost gets pass happy against MSU it will get ugly.

He'll run straight option against Michigan State and we'll punt nearly every time and get beat 23-3.

Would that make you happy "run the option guy"?

If we ran the option under AM we would actually look like we have a competent rushing attack. AM is a very good option QB and Frost only sprinkles it in here and there throughout the season.

What do you think was an "option" offense under Tom Osborne?

Did we run the option 12% of time. 15% of the time. 50% of the time?

By the way, Mike Rozier, Jeff Smith, Doug DuBose, Keith Jones, Calvin Jones, Derek Brown, Ken Clark, Scott Baldwin, and Lawrence Phillips aren't receiving that pitch.

Yeah running play action at that time was a bit odd. Who bites on that??

Ha! When we are worried about Michigan St. You know we have a problem. We will lose to go 2-3. Seriously. The dude will never change. Won't fire anyone that matters. Take your 14-22 recoed and get the hell out of here. Jesus. Get it over with.

They can stretch the defense, and they can catch the ball. We’ve got to get AM some more time to get it to them
We are on the verge of going 2-3 in year 4. They can't stretch crap. They are poorly coached and they lost to Illinois. This is not going to end well, so get it over with and move on. Damn.

Fun fact: msu is the only program not called ohiost to make it to the playoff from our lame dumpster conference

Next Saturday represents a gigantic measuring stick for our program, like it or not

I would say "worried" isn't the right word but rather importance.

We all would prefer to have had Scott Frost pan out and make Nebraska good. A close loss to Oklahoma is nothing than a good feel for some fans but those that look at things deeper know the issues that have been there since the first year are still there and that a loss to Michigan State makes it impossible to get to 6 wins this season.

Someone has to pass block. The line sure as hell wasnt doing it

They couldn't protect the qb with a 7 man protection, so your solution is to use less protection? Interesting.
