They’ve decided to no longer have the challenge and Kabash the idea in the future.

It's because the Big Ten is leaving ESPN....the Big Ten/ACC Challenge was an ESPN thing.

Wouldn't surprise me if there if FOX does some kind of Big Ten/Big East Challenge...they already kinda do with the Gavitt Games.
When UCLA and USC come into the league maybe Nebraska won’t have to worry about playing anyone because there isn’t enough Big East teams playing B1G teams..

Nebraska plays Boston College at home at 8:15 on ESPNU..
Hoiskers are -6.5 favorite…

BC has been a bit of a basketball wasteland since they parted ways with Al Skinner several years ago. Moved to a tougher conference too, obviously, but haven't found anyone to right the ship.

I miss the old MAG's Morning Trivia threads, so here's some BC/NU trivia for your afternoon pleasure:

What moment in Boston College sports (not basketball) history provided a huge lift for Husker athletics?

Correct!

In 1993, the Eagles kicked a FG at the buzzer to upset #1 Notre Dame. Otherwise, the powers that be were going to stage a national title game rematch between the Irish and one-loss Florida State. Huskers would have been on the outside looking in.

They also won the following year as well in 1994

Dear Fred: play Walker and Keita at the same time. The world will not end, the building will not collapse, and you just might find it gives you a better chance to win.
