Teen charged with possession, intent to deliver drugs at high school

LINCOLN, Neb. — An 18-year-old was arrested at Lincoln Southwest High School for drug possession with an intent to deliver on Monday.
Authorities said Kobe Edison, who does not attend Lincoln Southwest, claimed to be there to talk to a counselor about returning to the school.
When approached by an administrator, the teen seemed impaired, and smelled of marijuana, police said.
School officials then searched his vehicle, and found paraphernalia, plus 14.7 grams of pot in his right pant leg.
Edison was charged with possession with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school.
