Yup. Michigan lost Head Coach, starting RB, starting QB, etc. Will be one to watch to see if they can rebuild quickly.LSU and Michigan too high.
Michigan especially though.
They lost 13 draft picks!Yup. Michigan lost Head Coach, starting RB, starting QB, etc. Will be one to watch to see if they can rebuild quickly.
Very talented team. Have to see if they can reload or have to rebuild for a year or two. They lost 13 draft picks!
always like this pre-season (propaganda)The B1G has four teams in the top ten. The SEC also has four. That is what leaps out at me. There really are only two premier conferences.
Plus they won't be able to steal signals. They lost 13 draft picks!
Well, they did finally dump Baby Ferentz. Maybe they will suck less on offense?Clarkeyes skanked in at 25🙄
We have to earn our way back in the top 25. We've been shit for way too long.Nebraska received 2 votes!!!!
Hopefully they’ll suck more…Well, they did finally dump Baby Ferentz. Maybe they will suck less on offense?
Last check confirms your post.Hopefully they’ll suck more…
Arizona - Should not be ratedTeams too high? Too low? About right?
So will we. If we lose to CU we are toast.Michigan will show who they are pretty quickly. Texas in week 2 and USC in week 4.
I can see us losing and still finishing well, unlike teams of years past when 1 loss would derail everything. So will we. If we lose to CU we are toast.
I want to agree, but I just have to see it. We are a beaten down fanbase.I can see us losing and still finishing well, unlike teams of years past when 1 loss would derail everything.
what do you think Rhule's November record as our coach will be after this year?I can see us losing and still finishing well, unlike teams of years past when 1 loss would derail everything.
Holy shat… what an epic season this will be..Michigan will show who they are pretty quickly. Texas in week 2 and USC in week 4.
I agree CU game is huge for many reasons but many are thinking Michigan rated too high on preseason ratings. So will we. If we lose to CU we are toast.
3-1 this year Kong!!! Let’s roll.what do you think Rhule's November record as our coach will be after this year?
I'm hoping for better than 1-7.
not sure. We will have to tune in to find out.what do you think Rhule's November record as our coach will be after this year?
I'm hoping for better than 1-7.
fair enough.not sure. We will have to tune in to find out.
Also, I don't care about last year's November. Rebuild year and all.
I agree CU game is huge for many reasons but many are thinking Michigan rated too high on preseason ratings.
Since we are unrated - I don’t think the proving is as big for us as it is for Michigan on a national level.
Personally I think the mindset shift will be difficult to switch without a win against CU. If we lose … “here we go again”. If we win … “it’s time, lfg!!!” For me this is one of the biggest games of the season even though I think CU will end up with a similar record to last year.
I cannot wait to watch the game at Memorial stadium. It has a chance to be lit and I think DR comes out of it as a national conversation … now on to another shotski of koolaid
Certainly from a desperate fan base perspective, the CU game seems like another program defining moment and a loss is going to be a gut punch. Logically though, if the team emerges through the first 7 games with only 1 loss, even if it is to CU, they still have a great opportunity in front of them to have a very successful season. If they lose to CU and someone else in the first 7 games, the path to a successful season gets significantly harder, at least on paper.
Pre-portal, it was usually 3 years, depending on how messed up the team was and how quickly it was fixed.fair enough.
when did it stop being a "rebuild year" for Frost in your opinion?
The B1G and the SEC have picked apart all the other power conference except for the ACC.The B1G has four teams in the top ten. The SEC also has four. That is what leaps out at me. There really are only two premier conferences.
so much has changed since the 90s. nil, free agency, coaches, conferences. it's just not the same other than the tradition.Honestly, when did you think you would ever see both Kansas schools rated ahead of Nebraska? My goodness, we have fallen out of relevance nationally.
Yes, I’m sure that’s it. All of his goodwill the past few years was all a ploy to build up hype for this epic match up between 4-8 and 5-7 teams.klatt is just trying to ramp up the importance of the cu visit to lincoln.
That would be like KU not making the NCAA tournament for 7 years straight. Lawrence would be burned to the ground.Honestly, when did you think you would ever see both Kansas schools rated ahead of Nebraska? My goodness, we have fallen out of relevance nationally.
