My parents had gone to the game to support their Huskers. With my mother's passing, I have now come into possession of the game's program. I thought I would share.

Nice program! Looks to be in good shape.

I was at that game. Great first half. But the offense tanked in the second half with turnovers. Otherwise we would have won by 63. I sat next to two guys who were WV fans. They were totally confident they would win. Told me we did not play anyone "out there in the Big 8" and that we were finally playing a real team.

They left at halftime.

(Condolences to you, Boxes. You have yourself a beautiful artifact!)

A little off-topic, but still 1000% related: A really close friend of my boss's, who played for Florida in the late 80s, said that Florida was "too talented" for Nebraska in '96, just like Corso said pre-game. Of course there was smack talk between the two of them, but we beat them so bad that my boss didn't even bother calling him the next day.

His friend eventually calls him back and asks, "You're not gonna rub it in? I would be rubbing if we had won!" My boss replies, "What more is there to say?"

I went to that game. My girlfriend at the time and I traveled with another couple to New York and stayed at the Martinique for 4 days or so. If I remember correctly, we won 31-0, correct?

Yea, that was the score. I was at that game also. Thought the friend I was with was going to get me killed, yelling "Come on you mountain hillbillies, do the wave!"... Good times.

There are a couple of OWH from the 1994 champioship, a couple of Husker Illustrated special editions and a 1992 media guide as well, all of which I already have. I'm going to have to (figuratively) wear a black arm band this season in honor of my mother.

I attended this one with my father, and I believe an earlier poster was correct that we won 31-0. If I remember correctly, this was the game that Tommie Frazier sustained the bruise that turned into a blood clot that caused him to miss the rest of the regular season. I remember Jason Peter making a big sack as just a RS freshman, and some Miami Hurricanes fans in front of me were saying that our defense looked really fast. Little did we all know at that time that the Huskers would take down the Hurricanes 24-17 just four months later for Osborne's first national championship.

I attended that game. The only reason it was "close" was the punting of the wacky roid that was Todd Sauerbrun. What loon that guy turned out to be.
