Key sr.. about to be on espn

Lol yeah he just came on to talk about the cp3 trade.. cause that's why I tuned in...to get keys position on nba..

It's one of the four major sports. Very popular with the younger crowd and advertisers.
NBA is on the upswing among the younger crowd. Football is losing viewers among that same subset. The NFL is still king but "Prince NBA" is still gaining ground. And when one looks globally, it might turn into a real rivalry in terms of viewership and $$.

I was saying to a friend look at how much interest the offseason is getting. Just imagine if the actual season/playoffs was good ball with more parity? If you're Silver, you're like wow we have a pretty high ceiling.

Parity is a long ways away in the NBA. But the top portion still is very entertaining. Rockets want to be a part of that upper echelon also now.

It would be nice to have a handful of teams in the mix but the NBA has done well in the past when having just a few good rivalries.

I would probably watch more if it wasnt for the officiating and lac of rule enforcement/favoritism for superstars. Something about watching a guy travel into the lane, run into three people and go to the line doesnt appeal.
I will say Golden state was fun to watch cuz of all the passing, like those great old spurs teams. However lack of parity as mentioned before hurts.

I can tell you don't know the NBA travel rules, it's been the same for 40+ years but people still think they're watching high school basketball...and parity is starting to come around, watch out for Minnesota and Milwaukee.

If you're talking about watch out fors... I guess Minnesota and Milwaukee have more this season, but I'd keep my eyes on the Philadelphia 76ers. They've finally put together some really talented pieces. I expect them to make the playoffs this year with a much higher ceiling in the coming 2 - 4 years.

No doubt, I'm very excited about this upcoming season, I expect the celtics to fall a lot of other teams to rise. Finals will still be golden state vs Cleveland

I used to watch the NBA a lot. Last ten years have become unbearable. Glad you enjoy it, but please spare me the false assumption.

I think most people know the travel rules in the NBA. 6 steps or less so long as you're in the lane with your head and shoulder down is OK as long as you're the team's designated "star".
