What do you think Bears fans?
I know Barry has his hands active at Wisconsin but personally I think it's time he retired and stayed retired.Come on down Barry A!
Can you imagine the schedule wisky would play if Barry was in chargeI know Barry has his hands active at Wisconsin but personally I think it's time he retired and stayed retired.
That would be racist…Interesting. I thought he would get fired from the B1G for how he handled the Covid response. Now I think he has unfinished B1G business with expansion poaching PAC teams.
If football didn’t make so much money the B1G would’ve done away with it years agoGimme Alvarez over the woke dipshits that the Presidents in the B1G would insist on bringing in. I don’t think people understand how many B1G schools brass would love to see an Ivy League model when it comes to sports
Pretty interesting and insightful
talks a lot about Nebraska, B1G media rights, expansion and the like
worth a listen (despite the losing record of the B1G)

B1G likes to think their the Ivy League of Power5 conferences..If football didn’t make so much money the B1G would’ve done away with it years ago
3 div3 non conference, Rutgers, Iowa, Rutgers, Indiana, Rutgers, Indiana, Iowa, fall version of spring game.......Can you imagine the schedule wisky would play if Barry was in charge
Kinda pervy seeing that Virginia is Halas' daughter, not to mention that she hasn't run the team for more than 20 years. Her dopey sons do.just when we had things going in the right direction
honestly, the job of CEO of the Bears is a tough one. you report to a 100-year old lady who owns the team because George Halas (Legend) thought she was hot like 80 years ago, and the team is basically the only asset the family has, so there's tons of leverage against it, I'm sure.
so long as he has nothing to say about the actual team & focuses only on business/dealing with the McCaskeys, I would not be opposed.
guy did just ink the largest media deal in college football history, after all, and the Bears are talking about making major moves geographically in the coming years
They probably won't expand unless they can get Notre Dame to join.Interesting. I thought he would get fired from the B1G for how he handled the Covid response. Now I think he has unfinished B1G business with expansion poaching PAC teams.
Still possibility of the conference adding Oregon and Washington..They probably won't expand unless they can get Notre Dame to join.
Maybe, but probably not too likely until Notre Dame signs on the dotted line.Still possibility of the conference adding Oregon and Washington..
Notre Dame is obviously is the best fit, but ND has had some past bad blood with Michigan.. I think their getting comfortable in the ACC..Maybe, but probably not too likely until Notre Dame signs on the dotted line.
ND will never, ever join the B1GMaybe, but probably not too likely until Notre Dame signs on the dotted line.
I think they're waiting on Notre Dame before doing anything else but if they get a definite no way ever from the Domers, I think they'll go ahead with Oregon and Washington. At least I think that was Warren's plan, maybe it all changes if he leaves. They probably won't expand unless they can get Notre Dame to join.
Take one for the team, Bears.
I’m not sure everybody is liking adding UCLA and USC ……Interesting. I thought he would get fired from the B1G for how he handled the Covid response. Now I think he has unfinished B1G business with expansion poaching PAC teams.

Everyone will when it’s time to cash them paychecks in two years..I’m not sure everybody is liking adding UCLA and USC ……
I’m doubting they’ll add anything to each team’s share on a new contract. Yeah they’re in a huge market but how many people care enough to subscribe to the B1G network. Then add in the added travel costs for each team that has to fly out there. I think it’s a greedy move that really isn’t beneficial to the rest of the conference.Everyone will when it’s time to cash them paychecks in two years..
I don't think subscribing to the B1G network was the biggest financial incentive in Warren's mind. I think Warren saw those adds as the start of working on a night time game package for the media bidders. That's why I think he was still interested in Oregon and Washington but his plans were on hold due to wanting to see what Notre Dame would do. It kind of like the NFL adding different night packages to cash in with various media deals.I’m doubting they’ll add anything to each team’s share on a new contract. please please please please
It’s like the Bears asked themselves the same question the B1G did. “Who is the minority candidate we can hire whose resume looks the best?”i'm not sold warren has anything to do with anything
