It is the truth, but Kevin really enjoyed his time in Lincoln. I got to know him a little bit -- he is a huge fan of Coach Osborne and his daughter was born here. He has a soft spot for Nebraska

For years T.O. would say he continually ran into Kevin Stele in airports in the South because they were both on the recruiting trail and hard at it. He thought Kevin Steele was very tough competition to recruit against. That's way he went after Kevin and hired him. And Steele made a big difference for our program when he arrived in Lincoln!
