Keith Williams: Why I Create (video)...

I hope we keep Coach Dub for at least two or three more seasons while we prepare to go through this upcoming Air Raid, striking while the iron is hot so to speak, before he moves onto bigger and better things. UNL Leadership was wise in their assessment, as he's done nothing but shine here as a Cornhusker. Love the attitude and grind - #w4L

Very powerful video and well done. I hope we are able to keep him longer than just 2-3 years. The man has made mistakes but haven't we all? It is no wonder why recruits and players can relate to him so much.

I think KW is here for along time. If he was looking to jump up, he has had his chances.

Obviously I don't know a lot about he guy but it looks like the position group and coaching WR is more important to him than climbing the coaching ladder to become a OC or HC.

Add in the fact how Nebraska and the administration rallied behind him after his DUI and gave him the second chance, that's the stuff that creates loyalty to someone like KW.

This video makes you understand why players/recruits gravitate to him. But why does he wear his watch on his right hand?

Seriously! I see no reason why our coaches wouldn't all stay put for quite some time:

- Riley - Will retire here at some point.
- Langsdorf - He may go back to the NFL one day, but that's fine. Hire Frost after him!
- Diaco - Gunning for the head coaching job someday, I bet.
- K. Williams - Has had a few colorful episodes in the past, will likely stay here as long as Riley does, if not longer.
- D. Williams - Honestly I hope he stays forever, but he probably will leave unless the regime changes from Riley to Diaco and Diaco decides to keep most of the staff. I could see D. Williams increasing his role to be a DC one day in the near future.
- Reggie Davis - On the hot seat, may move on, may be a solid coach for us for years.
- Bray - Will likely stay as long as Riley does.
- Cav - Hot seat as well, will likely stay until he retires.
- Parella - I think he's here until retirement, honestly, given his background and the fact that he doesn't really need any money after THAT long in the friggin' NFL.
- Elliott - Here until retirement.

I know I'm missing one or two, but the point is, I don't see these guys jumping ship once we either win a NC (I hope!) or at least get regularly back into that conversation.

Ah...didn't see that. I wanted to include the story on the page also, so I didn't imbed the video. Looks like we have it covered. ☺
