Justin Fields is a man and Ryan Day is an assassin

Reason #328 why I don't bet football...I could not have been more wrong about this game.
Same. Figured there’s no way they could stop Clemson. Dang, seems like every OSU player is a fresh or Soph with the top classes coming in this year and next. Just crazy. It’s truly 5 or 6 teams and then 8 to 10 more teams. Then everyone else. Once you get past the top 15 you might as well be top 75.

If you think the gap between OSU and the rest of the B1G is overwhelming now, wait till their 2021 and 2022 classes hit the field. Their 2022 class could end up being the highest EVER in the 247 Composite. Oh, and pay special attention to the string of 5 star QBs they have ready to take Fields' place and wanting to play for Day. It's SICK

Teams not on the talent level with Ohio State can stay closer in the game with Quality coaching, good fundamentals, and disciplined play. We need to improve in all of those areas.

Northwestern was pretty close to beating them. Really just a few untimely Ramsey turnovers and botched trick plays from pulling off an upset. Fitz makes you go 10-15 plays to score and OSU isn’t used that. Clemsons secondary was a mess last night.

The good news is that they can only put 11 of them on the field at any one time. Teams who can get 4 or 5 of those top players every year and then coach up the rest have a shot if things fall right for them. You have to have them stick around, stay healthy, play early and produce, but you can have a chance to compete. It's amazing how top heavy the talent is right now in college football.

Agree and that's why we see upsets. But those type teams rarely lose more than a game a game or two in a given year. Heck, a 2-loss season is a disaster for teams like OSU, Clemson, and Alabama

If Olave had played in the NW game the score would have been 3 TDs. He is that good and his deep threat ability opens up the offense for the other players. Not taking anything away from a very good NW team which had a great season.

It seems some weeks the Buckeyes don’t show up to play, or at least play to the level of their competition. When they show up all business, look out!

And to add, OSU was missing 23 total players for that game and still ran for 400 yards on the ground. Just shows what depth can do
