Anyone remember watching that train reck /guilty pleasure of a show Friday Night Tykes? Seeing Latrell McCutcheon starting as a freshman at Oklahoma prompted me to see what became of some of theses kids. Not many turned into big time recruits. Lucas Coley is a freshman at Arkansas. I found it sort of ironic that Torres (from Hurt’s home of San Antonio) got the Nebraska scholarship that the Hurt family wanted so bad. They came across sort of crazy on the show, but all in all Justice seemed like a pretty good kid…just small and not a great arm.
Anyway, for me it just sort of put into perspective how elite you need to be to be a power 5 football recruit…hell a div 1 football recruit.
