I did stats work for Fox tonight at the Northwestern-Butler game. Thoughts after watching the Wildcats:
1. Bryant McIntosh is a very good PG. He distributes the ball well and can score when needed, but Butler had a quick freshman PG that gave him trouble. I actually think Watson is every bit as good as McIntosh
2. They have zero post game. There is some decent perimeter talent, but no one skilled over 6-8. We match up with them in terms of size.
3. They have zero depth. They have two decent players off the bench...that is it.
4. They are a pretty good defensive team. They play physical on defense for a smaller team and go hard after rebounds.
Collins is doing a good job, but I don't see any reason we can't be better than this team this year, especially if we can go 9 or 10 deep with decent players.
