For those who think that everybody is undervaluing Nebraska this year, I would argue that Vegas sure thinks highly of our prospects. The over/under is 9 1/2 on Bovada and I just placed a small bet ($100 to win $140) on the over. If you want to bet the "under", you will have to risk about $260 to win $140. Conference championship and bowl games do count.
Nebraska will go to a bowl game, so they will play at least 13. To clarify for those few of you who don't do any sports betting, for my bet to win Nebraska has to go 10-3 or better, or 10-4 if they make the conference championship game. Obviously that's a big jump from last years 6-7, but I think with these odds the over is the better bet. Or maybe just staying away from this bet would be the smart decision?
