Since 1967, by my count, Nebraska has had 8 QBs drafted in the NFL draft, the last being in 1992. We've had one first rounder (Jerry Tagge, 11th overall), a 4th rounder (Ferragamo), a 5th rounder (Humm), two 8th rounders (Brownson and Gdowski), a 10th rounder and two 12th rounders. I predict, using round drafted as a measure, that Coach Riley will, during his tenure, end up coaching two of the top 5 QB draftees in Nebraska history. I base this on the recruits showing interest, Riley's track record, and the improvement in technique/mechanics/judgement shown by Tommy Armstrong since last season.
