Trying to find a name, no luck. I guess one of the other sites broke the news a few hours ago.

Surprise visit.

Also of note, Elijah Blades cancels Wash. St. visit. Could he head this way?

Corrion Ballard from Blinn is the visitor. 3 years to play 2, December transfer.

@jflores I wanted to add Blades in the other thread, but didn't feel comfortable enough. I'll add him if something is confirmed.

Strange Juco visit with KW, AW, Reed, Anderson and Doman returning (unless someone isn't).

They must think this kid is a difference maker to go after him with the returners we have and the athletes coach Williams is in on.

I suspect it's partly that, partly that they know they're very young at safety behind the Williamses, partly that they want somebody on that returner list to move to WLB or Nickel/Dime.

He's a 3 to play 2 JUCO, so he could redshirt a year then have 2 to play. Must of the guys that Coach D Williams is recruiting are smaller framed guys suited for CB. I think they are all under 6 foot and less than 200lbs.

I don't know if there is genuine interest from both sides, but a 6'3" 200lb safety with an offer from Utah is always worth a look. Whittingham does good things on defense most years.

Except for Blades. He's 6'3 and about 200 probably. In my mind, if we are legit taking 3-4 DB's (of Graham, Johnson, Blades, Lenoir, Holmes), Blades is the one I'd be looking at maybe talking safety if Curl doesn't pan out. Of course you could move Johnson to RB too.

I have read multiple updates on Holmes from various sources. I am just going to say this-

The coaches have not made a single in home visit.
He has not made an official visit to Nebraska
He has not mentioned Nebraska in any way shape or form in those updates.

MY OPINION is we need to move on.
