Would think of your going to do a commitment video. And already have your jersey # set. You would be set in stone where you wanted to go. But hey he's a teenager.

A matter of time. Jmho
I've been on and off this thought train as well but I'm hoping he stays true to Keith Williams. I think he will stay with Nebraska. He's going to see how many catches he will get when Tanner Lee (hopefully) zings the ball all over the field.

Just like most hot girls (or dudes), they can be super flaky. When you're at the top of the recruiting game this is pretty normal. Just a strange concept to commit on the anniversary of his brother's passing, then possibly go elsewhere. I say 55-45 he stays.

Nate clouse isn't that concerned about him leaving.. says his cousin just transferred to lsu thats what this was all about..at the end of the day tho he thinks he will stick

We will see. I just have a feeling he will stay closer to home and family. If the recent developments with Blades and then the CBs putting Griffith at FSU, perhaps an offer to Jordan will get him to stick. Sumlin's future at aTm may also be a factor.

Nate is a pretty optimistic guy about these types of things and he's been wrong many times before. Hope he's right about his one.

I'm with Tuco, I think it's only a matter of time. I also think a great season will help a lot though.

Moore has always planned to take visits and should be considered a "soft" commit. My opinion is we keep him.

He gone

(actually I have no idea -- just always wanted to chime in with a "He gone")

he is obviously very talented - if he is shaky, however, I hope we continue to recruit for that roster spot and if we get a firmer commit from an equally, or nearly equally talented recruit we take it and move on

if we have Josh rated high enough and things remain up in the air as signing day approaches then we consider him a +1 on signing day

I realize we aren't Ohio State or LSU where we just move on to the next 4* if there are doubts and in that regard the recruit has a bit more leverage. Just need to find the "sweet spot" between waiting for highly rated recruits to firmly commit and filling roster needs and recruiting classes

I think we keep him. It was only a week ago he announced he picked out a new jersey number to wear at NU (I mean really, its a long ways to signing day?).

I'm not terribly worried about it, but anything can happen.

Yep. I know people are sometimes hard on these kids, but most of us don't actually have a clue as to what their life is like, being a highly ranked guy. When you're sitting on 30+ scholarship offers, you'll have 5-10 of those top schools actively pursuing you, making promises of God knows what, with coaches trying to get in close and be considered a friend. All the while you have your family you don't want to let down, and friends influencing you all over the place.

Also, one thing we shouldn't forget (but I think many do) is peer recruiting. We all applaud guys like Bookie for pushing hard on guys to consider Nebraska, yet many fail to see that other kids are doing the same for their respective schools. All of this for a 17 or 18 year old kid that's already coming up on the transition from secondary school which can be tough by it's own. It's easy for us in our 30's, 40's, 50's or more to critique them, forgetting how it felt to be a teenager.

I just saw Tutt and Brown both got N predictions on the CB today. Looks like we won't get Griffith though (heavy FSU lean now). I don't see why we don't keep Moore?

Have to remember that the source of the article was SEC Country.

Another poster on another site pointed out, this has shades of "Clouse getting NU fan hopes up on Darnay Holmes and then citing Raising Cane's as a reason".

I haven't read the source article or if its VIP or not, but its also possible that LSU is aggressively pursuing Moore, but Moore is not listening all that hard.

We could just as well have a headline that says "NU Aggressively Pursuing Griffith" even though all the tea leaves look to be against our favor.

I personally hope Tuco's wrong here. But one of the things I do worry about is Moore having a "I wanna be with family" moment and bouncing on the Huskers.

I'm tellin you, Bookie, Jurgens, and Josh Moore are as solid as it comes. These guys have red carpet rolled out for them, know there already Rock stars in the State of Nebraska already and haven't even suited up yet and they know there's a good chance they will be seeing the field as true freshmans (note I said seeing the field, not starting. So no jumping on my back). They have it made as Huskers already, before they even sign the letters of intent.

That's part of the pull I think. They feel special, like they are leading the charge. If we get Parsons, it's largely because of that.

And I'm good with it. Whatever gets these studs in Lincoln. This is how we fight that notorious "talent gap".

I think Tutt is in for sure. I have a feeling that his cancellation of the July visit was due to extra scholarships becoming available for the 2018 class and now there isn't a rush to commit. Why not wait until the season starts and use the expenses paid official visit to let the family see the place? Makes sense to me.

His dad said something to the effect of "schedule is just too busy to squeeze in a visit, still excited about the Huskers". I believe he also said Bama is out of the running.

Most recruiting analysts expect him to commit on his OV at the latest.

Sounds great to me! If we get him and Brown, I'll be very happy.

The only other guys on our board I need to see us land are an offensive tackle and an elite OLB/DE. After that, I really don't care what we land, though it looks like we are going to be able to sign 16-17 players easily, and still be able to award a scholarship or two after that.

His live facebook feed had some interesting information... He said he knows of 2 silent commits one 4* and one 5*... Everyone thinks it's Parsons, but I think it may be Hufunga.

With that said a silent commit is in all actuality a player that has us at the top of their list at the moment. So you can take that info any way you want. Either way I think it is fun to hear that stuff coming from Joshua Moore and not some random poster on a message board

Oh he did say the silent commits he knows about will commit before the season opener
