I said someone else needed to step up today besides Jordy. No one did. Is Jordy back next year? If she is, need more talent around her.

Valiant effort. As a Royals fan I’m used to my teams not scoring. Hard to beat a great pitcher like Pickins. But you gotta find some bats somewhere.
That proves my point she’s not a good recruiter! Jordy went to OU for two years. Oklahoma doesn’t have that much of an advantage in recruiting talent it’s in the coaching staff.

Meh. I’m not a huge Revelle fan, but that suspension for unknown reasons, didn’t help her recruiting. That was weird. Did I miss the report on what that was all about? She’s built a solid team this year that lost to a top team in 3.
I was told ou had better players is why Nebraska lost but why is Jordy’s era higher under Revelle than when she played at ou? Again Jmo is that it’s coaching ou has superior coaching
I just told you, better fielding, she wasnt hitting, and she wasnt off an ACL tear. She had an amazing year. Under Revelle, she's a top 3 player in all of college softball. At OU, she was not. Complaining about Jordy's performance this season is like nitpicking the Sistine Chapel.
And yet Bahl is still among the top handful of players in country. At some point are you going to fill us in on how Revelle screwed her up? You’re the one who made that statement - why not back it up with something that suggests you might have the slightest idea what you are talking about?
OU’s overall talent is deeper than Nebraska’s. They’ve been to now 9 WCWS in a row. Elite level talent and elite coaches, especially recruiting wise. That program has margin of error that is larger than almost any program going. That kind of tradition self replicates when the program understands how to use it for the future.
Nebraska is good and Bahl makes them top level but the depth isn’t there. Yes it would be great to find some more elite talents like Bahl to play for the Huskers but what is the total that would put the team on the same level as OU?

Other players need to step up if the Huskers and Jordy are going to take the next step.
I read about the team throughout the year, but only watched them the last three games. Jordy seemed to tire throughout the series. Also, no one else seemed to step up and provide a spark. Way more talent is needed around her to make the next step.
Oklahoma is the top softball school in the country. Saying they don’t have much of an advantage recruiting wise is the equivalent of Colorado football saying they should have been able to keep up with Nebraska in the 90’s. It’s just not a statement based in reality.
These 2 were the driving force. Need a couple more like these two to make it to the WCWS.
So where would we be without the transfers home? All nebraska talent and came back. Was this because of the suspension or did we get out recruited on some? Is nebraska that full of good softball players traditionally or was this an anomaly?
Regardless I agree that while we were good and makes for a good story, we're going to need more play makers to be great.
That’s fine you are not a Fan of hers and you thought she should have been fired. I won’t say anything that’s your opinion. But when a player is one of 3 finalists for player of the year and IMO should win it based on her performance on the mound and at the plate that players coach DId NOT screw her up .

You probably need to let this one go. Big Bo Fan was pretty spot on… you have a problem with Revelle, but using Bahl as the reason is pretty ridiculous. Consider all the circumstances… she is returning from an ACL tear. She is doing more than just pitching (23 HRs suggests she is pretty active in the batter’s box as well). She very well may have pitched more due to her talent (I didn’t research this, so not sure about this), but if she didn’t, we don’t make it as far as we did. She needs help for sure, but to say Revelle made Bahl worse is pretty ridiculous.
I am assuming because when she was done pitching at OU in the inning she sat on the bench or went in the clubhouse to relax. At Nebraska she had to bat run tje bases and exert extra energy. Her not batting at Oklahoma was not because of better coaching it was because they had a LF that was capable. Not arguing with you on Ravelle either way it’s your opinion. Bit to say a coach made a player who was a top 3 finalist for POY worse from their previous stop is absolutely ridiculous.

Oklahoma has won the last 4 national championships including last year and possibly again this year . They simply didn’t need Jordy to hit . And as crazy as it is . They don’t need her to win either.
Coach Revelle really needs to step her game up with how she coaches Jordy.
Because Oklahoma is the best program in the country, with arguably the best coaching staff in the country. Nobody here is saying that Revelle is as good as the OU coach.
If you had simply made that point right out of the gate, instead of spewing utter nonsense about Revelle screwing up Jordy Bahl, people wouldn’t have spent the last three days laughing their asses off at you.
