ERA won't always go down, that's ridiculous. Also, only has so much that can be put on the pitcher. I don't have stats in front of me but a much better stat would be FIP.

If you want to badmouth Revelle, have at it. But claiming that Revelle made Bahl worse, and then seeing Bahl win all these awards, including player of the year, is bad. Bad enough to make you an award winner for stupidest post of the year.

Admit that was stupid and give legitimate reasons for thinking Revelle is a bad coach who should be fired. And don’t let any of those reasons include Bahl being made worse.

OU’s overall talent is deeper than Nebraska’s. They’ve been to now 9 WCWS in a row. Elite level talent and elite coaches, especially recruiting wise. That program has margin of error that is larger than almost any program going. That kind of tradition self replicates when the program understands how to use it for the future.

Nebraska is good and Bahl makes them top level but the depth isn’t there. Yes it would be great to find some more elite talents like Bahl to play for the Huskers but what is the total that would put the team on the same level as OU?

This. If one wants to accuse Nebraska coaches of not getting the best out of Jordy represented by her ERA, then you must also account for all of her wins missing from the OU team this year.

Somehow, OU looses Jordy and her win totals not to mention a NC but they survive that and go on to win their fourth NC in 2024.

Does anyone think Nebraska can replace Jordy’s pitching alone not counting her hitting? We just do not have the horses that OU does.
