I was looking at the scholarship distribution on dataomaha.com the other day and Keels was not listed. I figured that he was graduating. Good luck to him at EMU.

Didn't Joe keels experience a great deal of personal tragedy during his time at NU? A degree in hand, a change of scenery, and one more chance to play ball might be just what the young man needs.

add Hovey into that - I am curious were these factored in when determining how many kids we could sign this cycle and I am also curious with Keels is he still on the team til he graduates and count against us or do we just cover his schollie then let him go? not sure how fair that is to us

Keels is a non factor, he was a senior last season so his scholarship was already factored in to the 2016 class. Hovey was not factored in for 2016, pretty sure him and two others will be held back for 2017 class early enrollees.
