Lots of food insecurity companies focus on the tremendous amount of waste in this country. A collaborative I was once involved with served 500 meals per day, free, with emphasis on nutrition. Far too often, food pantries and church pantries are loaded with carb heavy junk. Little intentionality for people with gluten allergies also. Lots of in depth, hard working people making very little income to help fellow manWhat food? Steak? Crackers? Lobster? Mayo? Gray Poupon or the yellow stuff? Soda or Gatorade? Cookies and cupcakes? Ribs or veggies only?
