Jerry finally whacks MM-Prime to the Boys?

Cap hit to trade Dak would be astronomical, wouldn't it? Pretty sure that makes it borderline impossible. But, yeah Jerrah does some stupid shit so I wouldn't count it out
Getting Dak off the roster would actually be one of the better moves he's made. The guy melts down under pressure, and is now an annual injury concern. Get what you can get for him while you can still sucker someone into it.

The Cowboys would lose $14m against the cap by trading him and incur about $150m in dead cap. They could release him post June 1 and spread the dead cap over 2 seasons.

Is there a dead cap limit?
Not really, but it severely limits your ability to sign free agents. Dallas only has about $5mil to spend in free agency now, so they can't trade Dak without going over the cap. I guess they could restructure then trade, but all restructuring would do is turn base salary into a signing bonus, and Jones would have to pay Dak like an extra $40 mil in true cash immediately, which would further impact their ability to sign free agents.

Kellen Moore feels like the easy choice

obviously he'll never win a SB, but its a move that would marginally weaken Philly and strengthen Dallas.

lets be honest, primetime NFC East games to generate buzz are the Cowboy's real Superbowl.
