I just spoke with Detroit, Michigan three-star defensive back Jaylen Kelly-Powell and he confirmed that he will be officially visiting Nebraska for the Fresno State game. His mom and dad will be coming with him on his official to Lincoln.
I asked him why he decided to take his first official to Nebraska, and he replied:
"I had a good visit there [during the summer] and my mom wanted to see it. It's supposed to be a lively city on game day with the atmosphere and all of the tradition they have."
Jaylen Kelly-Powell said that he is still talking with his parents about which other colleges they want to take official visits to, but nothing else has been scheduled.
With the addition of Kelly-Powell, Nebraska now has two five-stars, five four-stars, and two three-stars as official visitors for their season opening game next weekend.
