Nebraska junior wide receiver Jamal Turner just tweeted that his medical hardship waiver has been approved by the NCAA, meaning last season will be counted as a medical redshirt year.
Not a big surprise, and doesn't really change much with his status. He'll still be considered a fifth-year senior.
