Just curious if anyone has any insight into this lack PT? Did he never get back to 100% after the achilles? Never fit into the system? Or did our wr depth just box him out?

seems like his route running is poor
his interactions with the WR coach on the sidelines would seem to indicate he may not have a full grasp of the playbook
he doesn't have very good hands
despite his athleticism he doesn't seem very elusive when he has the ball in space

he hasn't earned the trust of the coaching staff to garner more PT

I had high hopes for him ever since watching him take it to the house in his first spring game. The only other play he made that stood out was his TD catch against MSU as time expired. I think injuries have been his biggest enemy as he seems to lack the explosiveness he used to have

Before Saturday's game against Rutgers, Turner had been targeted 14 times and he was only able to covert 4 of those chances into catches. That also includes three drops.

Targets don't always tell the whole story, but the attention to detail in his game seems to be lacking and he hasn't really shown big play-making ability since early in his career before the injuries.
