* Isaiah Roby (6-8, 226) ---- 8.7 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 2.0 blocks per game, 57% from field
Note: Unusually long 7-1 wingspan

(Following are the 16-30 projected first-round picks, according to Land of 10)

24. Chimezie Metu, USC (6-10, 220) --- 15.7 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 1.7 bpg
25. Landry Shamet, Wich. St. (6-4, 180) --- 14.9 ppg, 3.2 rpb, 5.2 apg
26. Troy Brown, Ore (6-7, 215) --- 11.3 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 0.2 bpg
28. Mo Wagner, Mich (6-11, 245) --- 14.6 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 0.5 bpg
29. Austin Wiley, Aub (6-11, 260) --- 8.8 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 1.3 bpg
30. Brandon McCoy, UNLV (7-1, 250) ---16.9 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 1.8 bpg

Obviously, different positions ask for different things, but most of Roby's stats stack up with the above-listed players. In addition, his 3-point shooting stroke and success in the final 10 games of the season would not be lost on NBA scouts. He projects very, very nicely as an NBA wing or stretch 4.

Does he have to get stronger? Yes. Does he have to gain confidence? Yes. Is he ready to start for an NBA team? No. Would an NBA team draft him in the bottom half of the first round or in the second round? I think yes, absolutely.

Let's hope he likes it at Nebraska and decides to average a double-double for us next year. I would be elated to see him play in Husker Red again.

But let's not kid ourselves into thinking he's got no shot at getting drafted.
