I watched the NW game again last night and I came away less impressed than watching on Saturday. I know that turnovers are a big part of the game but if you take away the int in our end zone that A Williams had and the 4 points that their kicker did not convert, that game was closer than it should have been.

I know that if you take away our two turnovers the game is not close but our defense could not consistently stop them and that has been a trend all year. I am not sure how many three and outs we have had this year but I venture to bet it is not many.

Where do we need to improve on D to become a championship level defense? Our offense is playing well but defense wins championships. Right now I would give our O a B+ grade and our D a C through 4 games. Our backend play has improved but it seems we are very pourous in many cases against the run and passes to the flats.

Interested to hear what others think needs to improve for us to play better D
