Is there a bigger homer than Kent Pavelka?

No doubt Laughing My only problem with him is he doesn't always keep up with the faster-paced plays very well. Randy Lee was really good at that. I'd love to hear Kent do some baseball games.

How about "Spurrier can't draw a tackle up in the dirt"

His call of Nebraska beating #1 Missouri at Missouri (the team with Stipo and Sundvold) was priceless. He was going crazy...the fans were pouring beer on him...and he was yelling so loud everyone around him must have thought him crazy.

Definitely a huge homer and probably not a better fan around. However, pretty sure I'm in the minority when I say I couldn't stand his play-by-play in FB. The calling out of every five yards on a breakaway (listen to "the run" vs Florida for an example) was excruciatingly painful to hear - and back in that day, we heard it a lot!. Just say "he's gone!"

OU was the "soondoggies", and Colorado was the "buffies". You could tell who the players were he liked, referred to them by first name. The ones he could give a s+!t about were by last name. My favorite call was at the end of the 96 Fiesta. He just starts bagging on the national sports media and Florida. To quote "Gary, the fun and gun is done".

Sorry for all the coding!

Recap with Pavelka and celebration. What a W for this team. This is a fun one.

Great post, love seeing those guys get excited and have fun! Need to send this video to every big man prospect we have. Let them know they'll get immediate PT and play with a good team that's building to potentially be very special for this state.

"Tim Miles has punched our ticket Husker fans, it's time to twerk, let's go dancing!" Still gives me chills, starts at 2:56 mark...

I have been to a few big-time sports events the last few years. World series games, baseball playoff games, including some of the epic comebacks and wins by the Royals the last 2 years. Went to a January playoff game in Lambeau in sub-zero temps to see my Niners beat the Packers. But I still rank no-sit Sunday as one of the coolest/funnest enviroments I have ever been apart of in person. Husker fans partied before, during, and after that game. It was like the old days before factions of fans insisted things had to be done a specific way. The 74 year old guy next to us told us on the way out that "I don't ever remember having so much fun". Let's do it again!

I was late home from work. I about drove through the garage on Tai's last two shot foul. On the 2nd shot he yells "GOT ITTTTTT, OH ITS IN AND OUT!" Come on man.
The one that kills me is (opponent has ball and is driving for critical hoop): "he TRAVELS!!.........BUT IT ISN'T CALLED!"

I watched the replay on that and it was BARELY in and then out, too! I think he might benefit from calling the action a split second after it occurs rather than before.
