I was just wondering is Keyshawn our for spring practice i beleive he is recovering from some type of sugury but I cou be completely wrong about this

He had an appendectomy in December and it didn't go perfectly.

He just started running again last week. He has lost some weight but supposed to begin practicing after spring break. That was the last I heard.

I would add he has also been sick but is doing better now.

Maybe not the worst thing in the world for him.
IMO you want him as a big body. He's not going to be a burner at any weight, and they recruited speed guys specifically to be speed guys. KJJ is a physical, possession WR. Kind of dude you rely on to run very precise routes and to out-battle DBs for contested catches.

That's where his opportunities lie. If you're asking him to just run away from people, you're not using his strengths correctly.

There's a difference between being a big body and carrying too much weight.

Edit: Looking at my response again, I'm guessing this looks like I'm picking on the kid. I'm just saying he missed winter conditioning, which would have done him a world of good, much like most every kid coming straight from high school to D1 football.

Yeah you were calling him fat, I was clear on that the first time.
