Not sure who TM is but Adrian Martinez bigger most running backs. Sure he’s more susceptible to getting hurt compared to Iowa’s statue of quarterbacks. But, stop acting like Martinez is some twig that is glass. Also, it’s not exactly like Nebraska has chop liver behind him.

That's why I mentioned in another post Iowa is the kst in the big 10, when frost gets things rolling Iowa will go back to their main goal is to beat Iowa state. Beating Iowa state will be success or failure for Iowa and KF plus jr
I think there can be different types of rivals. We were rivals with CU not because we competed with them for titles year in and year out like we did with Okla. CU was a rival because we hated them at a personal level. They were annoying, loud mouthed, over confident, ass holes. I think Iowa will end up being that type of rival. We will beat them more often than not, but will still be a rival because we just enjoy curb stomping them and shutting them up.
Yes, and countering that is KF & his ball control/minimalist approach. SF stated in presser he hates those types of games because he can't get the ball back fast enough. Should be another interesting game this year. I expect a good one in Lincoln.
Keep an eye on Shaun Beyer at TE. Some real good talk by insiders/donors/coaches that he's newest starter next to hit the NFL radar. Three years in the program & needs the opportunity. That being said, they return every other skill player and the nucleus of the O-line. The biggest loss, imo, is Amani Hooker. He was the engineer in that defense & replacing him is going to be hard, but not impossible.
That might work for a year maybe 2 but Martinez isn’t going to be there forever, this isn’t the NFL. What’s plan B? Does Harrison Beck have a little brother?
Does Iowa have crossover games vs real teams this year?
We play whatever the schedule dishes out to us, the sheer beauty of our schedule is we always get Nebby at the very end of the season and historically you are tired, beat up and hurt by then.

I don't think Penn State will be as tough as they have been. Without McSorely, anyone's odds will be better. Like Iowa's chnaces at home this year. @ Michigan @ Wisconsin maybe @ Nebraska will be the tall tasks this year.
Don’t forget Northwestern..They have a replacement coming in at QB that was a 5* and he transferred last fall...

Honestly, I was going to put ISU but didn't think it would get a good response. It was a lose/lose Imo. Yes, @ ISU will be tough, but they did lose a lot of production there.
Not sure about NW. Lost some key defenders & Thorson was a bigger cog in that offense than often given credit for. May have blown their wad with last year's CCG excitement.

Frost will have our Huskers going good this season, anyone that TRULY WATCHED the Huskers could see Frost final got the Mike Riley off of the players the final 6 games and that’s why the Huskers are a top 25 preseason team. Even ranked above Iowa in some places.
And I seen the talent question pop up somewhere?? Can we get the talent here, that’s for dam sure. Frost already pulled in a top 24 class when he got hired and then pulled in a top 15 class this last recruiting cycle. I’d say he’s definitely loading the talent up.

I believe they did just fine in the 4th quarter. And we aren’t to worried at all, the Oline is improving ever practice. We will be more then ready this season for you guys. Count on that.

With out a doubt. Every thing i been reading on McCaffery and having the play book down faster then Martinez did, hed be Iowa’s starter had he picked there junk school instead. But those McCafferys are to smart to pick Iowa and there boring BS and cup cake loaded schedules.
